Harbor Group Holdings Corporation (“Harbor,” “we,” “us”) operates joinharbor.ai,
Training Ground and Harbor Connect. This policy explains what information we
collect, why, and how it’s handled.
What we collect
- Email address, when you sign up for Letters or create a Training Ground account
- Name and payment information, processed by Stripe, when you buy a Harbor
Membership. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles that.
- Account activity: lesson progress, badges earned, and messages you send to
Harbor Guide, our AI assistant
- If you use Harbor Connect: the profile you build there — for founders, your
business details, written pitch and pitch video; for investors, your check range,
industries and investing thesis, and, if you choose to add it, where you are based. Founders
never see where an investor is based
- Pitch videos you upload, which are stored and streamed by Cloudflare. They are
never public: only investors with access to Connect’s investor side can watch them
- Introduction calls on Harbor Connect run on Daily.co. Calls are not recorded
- Basic technical data (browser type, general location, pages visited) via
standard analytics
Why we collect it
- To send Letters and Training Ground content to you
- To run your subscription and process payments
- To track your course progress and unlock the right content
- To improve Harbor Guide’s usefulness and fix bugs
- To run Harbor Connect: reviewing Pitches, matching them to investors, and making
introductions
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
How Harbor Guide works with your data
Harbor Guide is powered by Anthropic’s Claude API. Messages you send to Harbor
Guide are sent to Anthropic to generate a response, and we keep your conversation
so you can pick up where you left off. We do not use your Harbor Guide
conversations to train AI models, and we do not sell this data.
Harbor Connect introductions
When Harbor approves an introduction, the founder and investor each see the
other’s name and the details shown on the introduction page — for the investor,
the founder’s business, stage, revenue range and location; for the founder, the
investor’s check range and industries. Email addresses are not shared through
Connect; Harbor sends each of you the introduction link.

- Supabase (account and content database)
- Anthropic (Harbor Guide conversations only)
- Cloudflare (pitch video storage and playback)
- Daily.co (introduction video calls)
- Resend (account emails, such as sign-up confirmations)
- Netlify (hosting)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share
it for advertising purposes.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from Letters anytime via the link in any email
- Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing
mail@joinharbor.ai
- Cancel your Harbor Membership anytime from your account settings
Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable
period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. You can request earlier
deletion at any time.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we’ll notify active subscribers by email
before the change takes effect.
